Our History
Like so many things, our journey started with the statement “there’s got to be a better way”. That statement was made in 1989 by a father and son team of financial planners looking for a better estate planning solution for their clients. By late 1990 Legacy Legal Plan was born. The idea was to do away with inadequate “boilerplate” documents, cumbersome and expensive meetings with attorneys and exorbitant fees for updates. Through a network of hundreds of financial advisors, their business was able to deliver affordable, high quality, attorney approved estate planning documents to the public. 25 years and thousands of estate plans later, the founders realized that new technologies had created the opportunity to make a good thing even better.
Where We Are Today
Gathering experts in the fields of technology, financial planning and estate planning law, they set their sites on building a revolutionary online estate planning platform that would bring their original vision into the 21st century. Enter, EP Navigator. The EP Navigator platform allows financial planners and other professionals to offer attorney approved estate planning documents in real time, wherever they do business. Estate planning documents created using the EP Navigator Platform are high quality custom plans unique to each client.
